4. John A.² Turner (George¹) was born 1759. John died 18/08/1827 at 68 years of age.

He married Mary Tremlett in Sandford, Devon, 06/01/1785. Mary was born in Crediton, Devon August 1763. Mary was the daughter of Daniel Tremlett and Mary Snow. Mary died 29/07/1838 in Denny Abbey, Cambridgeshire, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred 1838 in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. She was christened in Crediton, Devon, 14/09/1763.

He was christened in Cadbury, Devon, 13/01/1759.

John A. Turner and Mary Tremlett had the following children:

18 viii. Ann Turner was born in England 1801. Ann died 22/04/1867 in Alameda, California, at 65 years of age. She married George Hobler in St. Michaels Church, Cadbury, Devon, 21/10/1822. George was born in Queen's Row, Pentonville, London 6/10/1800. George was the son of James Francis Helvitius Hobler. George died 12/12/1882 in Alameda, California, at 82 years of age. George was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census in Eden Township, Alameda, California. George was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Court Street. Alemeda, California. 19 ix. Elizabeth Turner was born in Cadleigh, Devon 11/03/1803. Elizabeth died 21/04/1871 at 68 years of age. She was christened in Cadleigh, Devon, 25/05/1803. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Barton, Exminster, Devon, 1841.

20 x. Sarah Turner was born 1805.
