26. Edward William⁷ Waud (Edward Wilkes⁶, Edward William⁵, Edward Wilkes⁴, Edward³, Samuel Wilkes², Samuel¹) was born in Hastings, Sussex 20/02/1917.

He married Imelda Theresa Magee in London, 1943. Imelda was born in Holyhead, Wales 1920.

Was educated in Montreal, Canada, and the Megill University. Commissioned Lieutenant, Royal Montreal Regiment, September 1939; promoted Captain August 1942; Staff Officer, 1st Canadian Army Headquarters, September 1945 and demobolised, April 1946.

Subsequently took a post with Air Canada, Toronto, Canada.

Edward William Waud and Imelda Theresa Magee had the following children:

29 ii. Deborah Waud (still alive).

30 iii. Michael Waud (still alive).

31 iv. Peter Waud (still alive).

32 v. Ellen Waud (still alive).
