14. Sir John⁵ Wyndham (Sir Thomas⁴, Sir John³, John², John¹) birth date unknown. John died 1572.

He married Elizabeth Sydenham. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Sydenham.

Sir John Wyndham was knighted at the coronation of Edward VI in 1547. He married Elizabeth, daughter and co-heir of John Sydenham, Esq of Orchard, Somerset, and thus acquired that estate, which now retains the name of Orchard Wyndham. Sir John had four daughters and four sons. Margaret, Eleanor, Catherine, Elizabeth, John, Edmund, Humphrey and Charles.

Sir John Wyndham and Elizabeth Sydenham had the following children:

20 i. Edmund⁶ Wyndham. He married Margery Chamberlaine. Margery was the daughter of Richard Chamberlaine.

21 ii. Humphrey Wyndham.

22 iii. Charles Wyndham.

23 iv. Margaret Wyndham. She married John Fraunceis.

24 v. Eleanor Wyndham. She married Thomas Carne.

25 vi. Catherine Wyndham. She married Christopher Wood.

26 vii. Elizabeth Wyndham. Married Mr. Welch.

+ 27 viii. John Wyndham was born c1516.
