Father, third Earl Cadogan; Mother, Lady Adelaide, daughter of the first Marquess of Angelsey.

Frederick William Cadogan had the following children:

child 2 i. Miss2 Cadogan. She married Walter Lewis Bagot. Walter was born 1864. Walter was the son of William Bagot 3rd Lord Bagot and Lucia Caroline Elizabeth Agar-Ellis.

child 3 ii. Miss Cadogan. She married Reverend H. M. Villiers.

child 4 iii. Ethel Henrietta Maria Cadogan was born c1854. Ethel died 30/12/1930 at 76 years of age. Her funeral was held in Brompton Cemetary, 3/01/1931. From The Times, January 1, 1931

The Hon. Ethel Henrietta Maria Cadogan, who died on Tuesday at the age of 77, as reported in another column, was the second daughter of the Hon. Frederick William Cadogan, M.P. (fourth son of the third Earl Cadogan), by his marriage to Lady Adelaide, daughter of the Marquess of Angelsey. Her sisters are Mrs. Villiers, widow of the Rev. H. M. Villiers, and the Hon. Mrs. Bagot, widow of Major the Hon. Walter Lewis Bagot, D.S.O. Miss Cadogan was appointed a Maid of Honour to Queen Victoria in 1880, having been an extra Maid of Honour from 1876. In 1897 she was promoted to be a Bedchamber Woman in Ordinary, and served until the death of Queen Victoria in 1901. She was afterwards received into the Roman Catholic Church. She was one of the few surviving members of the Royal Order of Victoria and Albert.

Before the War Miss Cadogan was well known as an amateur actress, and she organized many amateur children's plays in London in aid of charities. In the War she joined the French Red Cross and nursed the wounded in France for 16 months at Le Touquet, in the French Military Hospital at Voic, in the East of France, and in hospitals in Paris during 1915 and 1916. Miss Cadogan was a great fancier of dogs, especially toy Pekingese and Japanese spaniels.

The funeral will be at Brompton Cemetary on Saturday, after mass at the Oratory at 10 a.m.
