He married Sarah Ferrand 12/02/1805. Sarah was the daughter of John Ferrand.

Currer Fothergill Busfield and Sarah Ferrand had the following children:

2 i. William² Busfield was born 26/04/1809. William died 31/03/1889 at 79 years of age. William assumed for himself and his children, by Sign Manual, the surname and arms of Ferrand in 1839. His estates were inherited by his nephew William Busfield.

+ 3 ii. Walker Busfield was born 10/09/1811.
