Thomas Henry Brooke

23. Thomas Henry⁵ Brooke (Thomas Digby⁴, Robert³, Reverend William², William¹) was born 1774. Thomas died 1849 at 75 years of age.

He married Anne Wright 1797.

Secretary to the Governor and for a long time acting Governor of St. Helena.

Thomas Henry Brooke and Anne Wright had the following children:

+ 37 i. Thomas Britannicus⁶ Brooke was born 1803.

38 ii. Major Francis Cisson Brooke was born in St. Helena c1810. Francis died 1886 at 76 years of age. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in 15 Queensford Villas, Wandsworth, London. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in Priory Park Road, Willesden, London. Francis was a boarder 1881 in 29 Imperial Square, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Married to Catherine A. b c. 1824 in Barnstaple, Devon. ('61, '81). In the '71 census, Catherine is listed as his daughter, but she has the same birthdate and place and the Catherines who are listed as his wife in '61 and '81.
