74. Thomas Nevill¹⁰ Cannon (Stephen⁹, Stephen⁸, Stephen⁷, Stephen⁶, John⁵, Robert⁴, John³, John², John¹) was born in Bexley, Kent 6 February 1864. Thomas died 4 August 1932 in Mount Eagle, Bexley, Kent, at 68 years of age.

He married Clara Amy Lucas in St Mary's Bexley, 4 July 1896. Clara was born in Bexley, Kent 1865. Clara was the daughter of Mr. Lucas. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Mount Eagle, Bexley, Kent, 1901.

He was listed as a resident in the census report in Bexley, Kent, 1871. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Heathcroft, Avenue Road, Bexlely, Kent, 1891. He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Mount Eagle, Bexley, Kent. Thomas's will was probated in Probate Division of His Majest, 15/11/1932. From The Times, August 9, 1932

Mr. Thomas Nevill Cannon, of Mount Eagle, Bexley, Kent, died at his home on August 4, in his sixty-ninth year. He was the eldest surviving son of Stephen Cannon, the founder of the firm of Cannon and Gaze, of which he became chairman, and was a prominent figure in the flour milling industry. He was chairman of the London Flour Millers' Association in 1913 and 1931, and a member of the Councils of the National Association of British and Irish Millers and of the Flour Milling Employers' Federation. He was also a member of the Kent County Council and of the Kent Education Committee, chairman of Erith Hospital, and a member of the Committee of the Alexandra Hospital for Children, and of the Council of the Anglo-Belgian Union. During the War he held a commission in the Home Forces, and for many years held high rank in the Boys' Brigade. His untiring work for the Belgian refugees made him many friends both at home and abroad. But he will be remembered best for his kindness to all, and they were many, who came to him with their troubles.
