James Blaikie had the following child:

2 i. Frances Grace² Blaikie was born in Aberdeen c1822. She married Robert Balfour 1847. Robert was born in Edinburgh 24/06/1818. Robert was the son of James Balfour and Anne Mackintosh. Robert died 1869 at 51 years of age. He was christened in Edinburgh, 30/06/1818. He was listed as a resident in the census report Pilrig House, Edinburgh, 1841. She was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in 22 Rutland Street, Edinburgh.
