1. John¹ Bridgman Simpson was born 13/05/1763. John died 5/06/1850 at 87 years of age.

He married Henrietta Frances Worsley 3/06/1784. Henrietta was born 10/07/1758. Henrietta was the daughter of Thomas Worsley 6th Baronet and Elizabeth Boyle. Henrietta died 02/08/1791 at 32 years of age.

He was listed as head of household in the 1841 census in Babworth Hall, Babworth, Nottinghamshire. of Babworth Hall. Later changed to Simpson.

Listed with him on the 1841 census is Charlotte Simpson, b c 1801 in Nottinghamshire, Emily Simpson b c. 1811in Nottinghamshire and Isabella b c. 1811 in Nottinghamshire. No clue as to relationship, (I would imagine daughters).

John Bridgman Simpson and Henrietta Frances Worsley had the following children:

2 i. Henrietta Anna Maria Charlotte² Bridgman Simpson. Henrietta died 30/06/1813. She married Charles Anderson Pelham 11/08/1806. (See Charles Anderson Pelham for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Charlotte Bridgman Simpson was born in Babworth, Nottinghamshire c1798. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Babworth Hall, Babworth, Nottinghamshire, 1841. She was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in Bilton Hall, Bilton, Warwickshire.

4 iii. Isabella Bridgman Simpson was born in Babworth, Nottinghamshire c1808. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Babworth Hall, Babworth, Nottinghamshire, 1841. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Bilton Hall, Bilton, Warwickshire, 1851.

5 iv. Emily Bridgman Simpson was born in Babworth, Nottinghamshire c1810. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Babworth Hall, Babworth, Nottinghamshire, 1841. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Bilton Hall, Bilton, Warwickshire, 1851.
