He married Jean Lucretia Pearson in Uxbridge, Middlesex, 21/06/1941. Jean was born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire 14/07/1911. Jean was the daughter of John David Pearson and Catherine E. Edmunds. Jean died August 1988 in Suffolk, at 77 years of age.
