He married Mary Chester in Blithfield, Staffordshire, 18/02/1846. Mary was born in Quebec, Canada 6/03/1828. Mary was the daughter of Major-General John Chester and Sophia Elizabeth Stuart. Mary died 15/04/1899 in Hampton Court Palace, Richmond, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred 19/04/1899 in Ashtead, Surrey. She made a will 29/09/1892. Mary's will was probated 16/05/1899.

He was baptized in Blithfield, Staffordshire, 18/02/1812. Religion: religion unknown. He made a will 1/02/1884. Charles's will was probated 31/10/1884. Educated at Westminster and at Christ Church College, Oxford. Matriculated 16 October 1830; B.A. 1834, M.A (All Souls' College) 1842, Fellow of All Souls' College 1842-1846. Rector of Castle Rising with Roydon, Norfolk, 1846 until his death. Chancellor of the Diocese of Bath and Wells from 1851 until his death and Registrar of the Diocese of Oxford.

The Rev. Charles Walter Bagot, Chancellor of the diocese of Bath and Wells, and Registrar of that of Oxford, died on Wednesday. The deceased was the third son of the late Hon. and Right Rev. Richard Bagot, D.D., Bishop successively of Oxford and of Bath and Wells, by his marriage with Lady Harriet Villiers, daughter of George Bussey, fourth Earl of Jersey, and grandson of William, first Lord Bagot. He was born in 1812, and graduated at Christ Church, Oxford, taking his bachelor's degree in 1834, and proceeding M.A. in 1842, in which year he was elected to a Fellowship of All Souls College. Mr. Bagot was ordained deacon in 1835, and admitted to priest's orders in the following year by his father, when Bishop of Oxford. He had held the rectory of Castle-Rising, Norfolk, since 1846. Mr. Bagot married, in 1846, Mary, second daughter of Major-General Chester.

child 62 iv. Mildred Emily Barbara Bagot was born 1856. Mildred died 1935 at 79 years of age. She married Charles Elphinstone Fleeming Cunninghame Graham 1882. Charles was born in Edinburgh 1/01/1854. Charles was the son of Major William Bontine Cunninghame Graham and Anne Elizabeth Fleeming. Charles died 8/06/1917 in Eastbourne, Sussex, at 63 years of age. child 64 vi. Hugh Villiers Bagot was born 1860. Hugh died 8/02/1919 at 58 years of age. His funeral was held in Ashtead, Surrey, 12/02/1919.
