William Atfield had the following child:

2 i. Frances Brouncker² Atfield was born in Kingston, Isle of Wight c1820. Frances died 1871 at 51 years of age. She married Sir James Crawford Caffin 21/09/1843. James was born in Woolwich, Kent 1/03/1812. James was the son of William Caffin and Bethia Crawford. James died 24/05/1883 in Woodlawn, Vanbrugh Park Road, Blackheath, Kent, at 71 years of age. James served in the military August 1824. James was promoted 7/03/1842 in Commander. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in Vanbrugh Lodge, Vanbrugh Fields, Greenwich.
