1. Walter¹ Bagot was born 23/08/1702. Walter died 20/01/1768 at 65 years of age. His body was interred 1768 in Blithfield, Staffordshire.

He married Lady Barbara Legge 27/07/1724. Barbara died 29/08/1765. Her body was interred 1765 in Blithfield, Staffordshire.

of Blythfield, Stafftordshire, Bart. Only surviving son and heir. MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme in the last parliament of George I.

Walter Bagot and Lady Barbara Legge had the following children:

3 ii. Charles Bagot.

4 iii. John Bagot. Died in infancy.

5 iv. Barbara Bagot was born 29/03/1725. She married Ralph Sneyd. Ralph was born 1723. Ralph died 10/12/1793 at 70 years of age. (See Ralph Sneyd for the continuation of this line.)

6 v. Ann Bagot was born 28/02/1727. Died unmarried.

+ 7 vi. William Bagot 1st Lord Bagot was born 28/02/1728.

8 vii. Walter Bagot was born 2/11/1731.

9 viii. Frances Bagot was born 3/11/1732. Died in infancy.

10 ix. Jane Bagot was born 29/09/1735.

11 x. Elizabeth Bagot was born 17/09/1738. Died unmarried.

12 xi. Maria Bagot was born 23/11/1739. She married Rowland Wingfield. i0 of Preston-Buckhurst, Shropshire.

13 xii. Lewis Bagot was born 1/01/1740. Lewis died 4/06/1802 in London, at 62 years of age. His body was interred 1802 in St. Asaph Cathedral. He married Mary Hay 1771. Mary died 1799. Educated at Westminster School and matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford on 8 March 1757. Bishop of Bristol, Norwich and St. Asaph. No issue.

14 xiii. Catherine Bagot was born 25/02/1742.

15 xiv. Henrietta Bagot was born 4/02/1744.

16 xv. Thomas Bagot was born 14/02/1746. Died at Naples, unmarried.
