26. Charles4 Bagot (William3, Sir Walter Wagstaffe2, Sir Edward1) was born in Blithfield Hall, Staffordshire 23/09/1781. Charles died 19/05/1843 in Kingston, Ontario, at 61 years of age.

He married Lady Mary Charlotte Anna Wesley-Pole 22/07/1806. Mary was the daughter of William Wesley-Pole 3rd Earl of Mornington. Mary died 2/02/1845.

Educated Rugby School and Christ Church College, Oxford, matriculated 26 October 1797; BA 1801; MA 1804.

Diplomatist and governor-in-chief of British North America.

Lincoln's Inn 12 November 1801. MP for Castle Rising in 1807. Ambassador to Russia, 1820; Governor-general of Canada 1841 - 1843.

Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anna Wesley-Pole had the following children:

child 32 ii. Wilhelmina Frederica Bagot was born 11/03/1826. Wilhelmina died 15/04/1852 in Brighton, Sussex, at 26 years of age. She married Admiral Henry Bagot in Blithfield Hall, Staffordshire, 17/11/1846. Henry was born in Blithfield, Staffordshire 12/07/1810. Henry was the son of Richard Bagot and Lady Harriet Villiers. Henry died 30/11/1877 in Brewood Hall, Staffordshire, at 67 years of age. His body was interred 6/12/1877 in Blithfield, Staffordshire. He was baptized in Blithfield, Staffordshire, 16/09/1810.
