7. William2 Bagot 1st Lord Bagot (Walter1) was born 28/02/1728. William died 22/10/1798 at 70 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Louisa St. John 20/08/1760. Elizabeth was the daughter of John St. John and Anne Furness. Elizabeth died 18/02/1820.

William was created Baron 17/10/1780. Magdalen College, Oxford, matriculated 28 February 1747, created MA 12 April 1749 and DCL 2 July 1754.

According to Oxford Alumni 1500 - 1886, William Bagot was created a Baron on 22 October 1798, which is the date I have for his death.

William Bagot 1st Lord Bagot and Elizabeth Louisa St. John had the following children:

child 17 i. Edward3 Bagot was born 23/01/1763. Edward died 1773 at 10 years of age. His body was interred 8/06/1773 in Blithfield, Staffordshire.

child 18 ii. Louisa Bagot was born 30/09/1764. Louisa died 30/05/1806 at 41 years of age. She married Walter Sneyd. Walter was the son of Ralph Sneyd and Barbara Bagot.

child 19 iii. Walter Bagot was born 28/03/1766. Walter died 1773 at 7 years of age. His body was interred 11/06/1773 in Blithfield, Staffordshire.

child 20 iv. Barbara Bagot was born 1/10/1768. Barbara died 1773 at 4 years of age. Her body was interred 11/06/1773 in Blithfield, Staffordshire.

child + 21 v. William Bagot 2nd Lord Bagot was born 11/09/1773.

child 22 vi. Hervey Bagot was born 14/03/1777. Hervey died 31/05/1787 in Chiswick, Middlesex, at 10 years of age. According to Collins Peerage of England, Hervey married Mary Wesley Pole, but I have found two sources that say Charles married Mary Wesley Pole (Memorials of the Bagot family by William Bagot and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography - Charles Bagot).

Died of Scarlet Fever.

child 23 vii. Henrietta Bagot was born 14/02/1780. Henrietta died 13/01/1797 at 16 years of age.

child + 24 viii. Charles Bagot was born 23/09/1781.

child + 25 ix. Richard Bagot was born 22/11/1782.

child 26 x. Frances Bagot was born 9/11/1785. Frances died 1806 at 20 years of age. Her body was interred 1806 in Blithfield, Staffordshire. She married Edward Paget 21/05/1805. i0 Son of Henry, Earl of Uxbridge. One son.
