Mr. Bateman had the following children:

2 i. Mary² Bateman. She married William Ashe. William was born c1647. William was the son of Edward Ashe and Elizabeth Woodward. William died 22/10/1713 at 66 years of age. His body was interred 29/10/1713 in Heytesbury, Wiltshire. He made a will 2/10/1713. William's will was probated 3/05/1714.
