1. Edward¹ Aetheling birth date unknown. Edward died 19/04/1057.

Edward Aetheling had the following children:

2 i. Margaret² Aetheling. Margaret died 16/11/1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Scotland. She married Malcolm III Canmore King of Scotland in Holy Trinity Church, Dunfermline, Scotland, 1069. Malcolm was born c1031. Malcolm was the son of Duncan I Canmore King of Scotland. Malcolm died 13/11/1093 in Alnwick, at 62 years of age. (See Malcolm III Canmore King of Scotland for the continuation of this line.) Canonised as St. Margaret.

3 ii. Edgar Aetheling was born c1052. In 1066 he was the only candidate for the throne who could trace his descent from an English king. Subsequently, he was involved in failed rebellions against William I, before he successfully adapted to Norman rule. 'Aetheling' - throneworthy.

4 iii. Christina Aetheling was born in Hungary 1057.
