1. William¹ Armstrong was born in Penrith, Cumbria 1831. William died 1868 in Mosman, NSW, at 37 years of age.

He married Anne Coldham-Fussell 1868. Anne was born in Crabb Hall, Owslebury, Hampshire 1842. Anne was the daughter of James Coldham-Fussell and Sarah Moore. Anne died 1933 in Mosman, NSW, at 91 years of age.

William Armstrong and Anne Coldham-Fussell had the following children:

2 i. Percy D.² Armstrong was born in Inverell, NSW 1869. Percy died 1951 in Cremorne, NSW, at 82 years of age. He married Beatrice E. S. Sapsford 1908.

+ 3 ii. Dacre Leslie Armstrong was born 1869.

4 iii. William Harold Armstrong was born in Warialda, NSW 1873. William died 1875 in Inverell, NSW, at 2 years of age.

5 iv. Edith Marian Armstrong was born in Elmsdale, Warialda, NSW 1875. Edith died 1936 at 61 years of age. She married Francis Joseph McIlveen 1899. Francis was born in Inverell, NSW 1872. Francis died 3/05/1917 in Somme, at 44 years of age. His body was interred 1917 in Villers-Bretonneux Memorial. (See Francis Joseph McIlveen for the continuation of this line.)
