12. Reverend Nicholas³ Arbuthnot (Alexander², Alexander¹) was born 1721. Nicholas died 9/10/1788 at 67 years of age. His body was interred 1788 in Ballinderry Churchyard.

He married Margaret Forster. Margaret died 20/07/1794.

Rector of the parishes of Ballinderry, Arboa and Newtonhamilton.

'Here lyeth the body of the Rev. Nicholas Arbuthnot, late Rector of this parish, who departed this life October 9, 1788 , aged 67'

Reverend Nicholas Arbuthnot and Margaret Forster had the following children:

14 i. Miss⁴ Arbuthnot. She married Reverend W. Hutchinson. i0 of Ballyrack, nr. Armagh

15 ii. Bridget Arbuthnot was born 1755. Bridget died 26/12/1819 in Jonesborough, County Armagh, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred 1819 in Jonesborough Churchyard. She married Archibald Kidd. Archibald was born 2/04/1754. Archibald was the son of Benjamin Kidd and Miss Abbot. Archibald died 26/07/1833 in Jonesborough, County Armagh, at 79 years of age. His body was interred 1833 in Jonesborough Churchyard. He was ordained a priest in 1778. (See Archibald Kidd for the continuation of this line.)
