1. Arthur Broad¹ Ashworth was born in Stoke Damerel, Devonshire 8 April 1887. Arthur died 1977 at 90 years of age.

He married Kathleen Mary Little. Kathleen was born in Pimlico, London 1 November 1893. Kathleen was the daughter of Arthur Edmund Little and Alice Mary Wyndham. Kathleen died 30 November 1943 in Devonport, at 50 years of age. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 47 Geraldine Road, Wandsworth, London, 1901.

Arthur Broad Ashworth and Kathleen Mary Little had the following children:

2 i. Joan² Ashworth (still alive).

+ 3 ii. Peter Arthur Ashworth was born 28 October 1920.

+ 4 iii. Malcolm Stanley Ashworth was born 14 November 1925.
