He married Matilda Vernon in St Giles-in-the-Fields, London, 8/09/1684. Matilda was born c1666. Matilda was the daughter of Sir Thomas Vernon and Anne Weston.

Of of St. Stephens, Coleman Street, London, a merchant.

Anthony Balaam and Matilda Vernon had the following child:

2 i. Anne² Balaam was born c1688. Anne died 29/05/1713 at 24 years of age. She married Sir Robert Furness. Robert was born 1/08/1687. Robert was the son of Sir Henry Furness and Anne Brough. Robert died 14/03/1734 at 46 years of age. (See Sir Robert Furness for the continuation of this line.)
