209. John Inglis¹³ Balfour-Melville (Leslie Melville¹², James¹¹, James¹⁰ Balfour, John⁹, Professor James⁸, James⁷, James⁶, James⁵, Andrew⁴, James³, David², Alexander¹) was born 1881. John died 1963 at 82 years of age.

He married Emily Frances Haig 1907. Emily died 1958.

He was educated at Malvern. He became a Writer to the Signet in 1936 and was at different times a partner in the firm of Balfour & Scott and Hope Todd & Kirk.

John Inglis Balfour-Melville and Emily Frances Haig had the following children:
